The Hermes-Jordian Foundation was founded on a simple belief: that a family's financial circumstances should never determine a child's future or a loved one's access to care.
Where We Came From
Our foundation was born out of personal experience. Like many families, our founders faced moments where the cost of a college education and the burden of unexpected medical bills felt impossible to overcome. They knew they weren't alone — and they knew something had to change.
What started as a small effort among family members has grown into a foundation dedicated to two of the most pressing challenges families face: funding higher education and navigating the financial weight of serious illness.
Every grant we give, every scholarship we award, carries the spirit of those early conversations — the belief that with the right support at the right moment, families don't just survive. They thrive.
