The Hermes-Jordian Foundation awards scholarships to students from families facing financial hardship — giving them the support they need to pursue their college dreams.
About the Scholarship Program
We believe that financial hardship should never be the reason a talented, motivated student can't attend college. Our scholarship program was created to bridge that gap — providing direct funding to students whose families simply don't have the resources to cover the cost of higher education.
Each scholarship is awarded based on financial need, academic commitment, and personal character. We look for students who are determined to build a better future — not just for themselves, but for their families and communities.
Eligibility
Who Can Apply
Our scholarships are open to students who meet the following criteria:
Financial Need
Applicants must demonstrate financial need. We prioritize families who face significant barriers to affording college tuition and related expenses.
Academic Commitment
Students must be enrolled or accepted at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university, or a vocational/trade program.
Family Connection
Preference is given to students from families who have previously received support from the foundation, though all qualifying families are encouraged to apply.
Personal Statement
Applicants submit a short personal statement sharing their goals, challenges, and what this scholarship would mean for their family.

Award & Support
Scholarship recipients are notified and funds are disbursed directly to the educational institution. We stay in touch to offer ongoing encouragement.
